Idea #1: The soccer player story
First of all that not the title of the movie we will talk about choosing titles
another time. So this story would narrate the story of a soccer player and how
his earlier decisions led him to the point he is in life now.I currently have to
different ideas of how to approach the opening for this.
#1: First scene is a wide shot of a soccer field, then a soccer ball scoring the
gol. Then we see the main character, his younger self, running around the field
celebrating like he won the world cup. As he cheers a girl approaches him and he
lift her onto the air and spins her around, representing his girlfriend. Than we hear the girl say,
"one day, i promise i'll be true".
Idea #2 :First Time Falling
This concept i'm still developing but the idea it's set in the 90's. The whole plot is this girl who is very masculine falls in love for the first time ever and starts to discover this new feelings and emotions she has never felt before.I don't know how the opening scene for this film would really look like, i have to put more thought into that.Idea #3 : I Choose You
This film opening would begin in a house with a TV on, the news announcing that the neighborhood should be alert because there is this weird guy that has been mysteriously walking around the neighborhood for days.Next we see the main character head out the door as she goes fro a run. During her run she bumps into this guy very attractive and say sorry. The next shot the girl continues running, smiling and intrigued to see this guy again. Meanwhile the guy just stares as she continues to run. This last shot is a twisted parallel to those romantic movies where the two character finish a date and the girl walks smiling to her car and the guy looks as she walks away smiling too, but in this version the guy isn't exactly thinking about another date.
So far i'm between idea #1 and #3 as those are the ones i have more of a vision for the possible opening scenes than for idea 2 which is just an undeveloped idea.
