Film locations is a big element to think about in this process. My locations are : a soccer field, maybe a gym, and a locker room.
Possible locations :
Parks
Weston Regional park- this park has good natural light, is always kept pretty neat, but it is busy a lot of the time which can cause it to be hard to film in it since i want clean shots.
Tequesta Trace Park- This is a closer and smaller park. this park doesn't have as much good natural light as other parks but it is less likely to be busy.
Vista Park- Vista park has two soccer fields with beautiful natural light. A soccer team already practices there which can be a pro and a con. Pro, i could get footage from the team practicing with their permission and use it. Con it will be hard to get clean shots with natural light, i'll have to figure out when the team doesn't practice there.
Locker roms:
Possibly inter miami locker rooms, since i got a friend who works there and friends in the academy team so their locker rooms might be an option. their locker rooms are beautiful and perfect as a setting.
I'll update and talk about this more on my next post but I'm going to interview soccer players just to understand deeper what soccer means to them. I want my film opening and the story overall to feel real, not like a cliche but like an inspirational real story, and to do this i need to understand soccer on the level soccer players do. I need to feel that passion, feel that need to put everything in the game.
